Learn to set pebbles, sea glass, crystal clusters and other dimesional, odd-shaped stones in this 6 week class. This technique will enable you to expand your skill set to include hard to set objects, to create one-of-a-kind wearable pieces. 

Students will bring their own stones (beach pebbles, sea glass, nuggets etc) and heavy (16 gauge or heavier) wire– minimum 3 feet, round or square profile recommended. Develop skills that will allow you to design & create art jewelry styles that will set your work apart from the crowd. A discussion on creating convertible links will be included.

Attendees must be able to use a torch without instructor supervision. This is not a beginner class.

Closed-toe shoes required. Please wear comfortable clothing of natural fibers. Mark your tools for easy identification, vision enhancement (magnifier or strong reader glasses) is recommended. Please arrive on time, so that we may get started promptly. Advanced Silver Techniques meets for 6 weeks on Mondays from October, 2026

Cancellation policy

No refunds for cancellations. If registrant must cancel due to medical emergency or natural disaster conditions. (fire, flooding etc), credit will be extended to the next available class session.

In this 6 week class w will create custom prong settings to accommodate odd-shaped dimensional stones such as beach pebbles, sea glass, crystal clusters or turquoise nuggets. This class is open to advanced students that have a comfortable relationship with the torch, students will need to bring their own pebbles to work on and a supply of heavy silver wire (min 3 feet) square or round preferred, 16 gauge or heavier. A technique for creating re-configurable links will be included.
